The AMA awards happened this week and there was a definite theme with the gowns worn. Metallic dresses were a big hit at the event. Taylor Swift, Heidi Klum, Jennifer Hudson and Selena Gomez were all seen wearing metallic gowns. With festive parties coming up this is a great look to steal! Pixie Lott is often seen in Lipsy dresses as she is the brand model for the company. However Pixie definitely has her own style of a cute mix of high street and designer. Olivia Palermo is no doubt the number one style queen at the moment. Everyone seems to be writing and blogging about her! She always looks beautifully fabulous and truly elegant. I could not resist finding her look for less. This week I took her simple style piece that she is often seen wearing. This is the big statement necklace and a sheek blouse. I love the tasselled waistcoat she is wearing too. This is a simple look that looks expensive but certainly doesn't need to be!

ASOS Splurge!

This week after a wardrobe clear out I did a little splurge on ASOS online for an Autumn wardrobe. There is nothing better than a box of goodies arriving in the post. I thought I would share a little bit of Ellie's look this week! My favorite item is the ASOS Salon embellished prom dress. ASOS brand dresses are very popular in my wardrobe. I feel the dresses are very reasonably priced, boutique like and always fit well. I love the animal print scarf and the vintage cardigan is cute, even though it is very similar to something I had when I was a young girl! Lastly the boyfriend style big watches are very popular at the moment and can add a touch of glamour to an outfit.
